SC Johnson's use of Love Marks

SC Johnson is well knows for their slogan, "SC Johnson, a family company" at the end of all their commercials with their little logo in the bottom right corner. They have a sweet woman's voice announce it which sounds nice and homey. I've talked to everyone in my family and they all associate the brand with their slogan and say it either sounds motherly or as I say homey. SC Johnson has created a brand experience with only three words.

Their company produces products that are all about keeping families cleaner and healthier. They create a bond with their customers through keeping families safe. They've developed a trustworthy title for themselves. This is all because of those three words. A company ran by a family seems like such a great investment, supporting them would be great because it's relatable for majority of people. If you read it's family run it sounds wholesome and trustworthy whereas maybe if we didn't know the kind of people behind a company it we could be hesitant on whether or not to support it.

Because of the companies use of love marks we are clearly able to see how they've brought meaning to their brand. By creating their brand experience they have created a loyal connection which is used to promote their products. And it works because everyone has a family that may or not have issues but somehow by using a cleaning product created through by a family working together you feel like yo can fix your issues. The brand experience behind those three words is an important part of how SC Johnson got as popular as it is today.
